What is conveyancing?
When buying or selling a property it is very important that the transfer of the property ownership take place correctly. The professional carrying out the process of transferring the property is called conveyancer. Both the parties, that is the buyer and the seller, will usually use a solicitor to carry out the process. In most cases, a transfer under a Contract of Sale takes 30 days but can take place in a longer or shorter time-frame.
